Dr Lorraine Day is an internationally acclaimed orthopedic trauma surgeon and best selling author who served for 15 years on the faculty of the University of California, San Francisco, as an Associate Professor and Vice Chairman of the Department of Orthopedics, and as Chief of Orthopedic Surgery at San Francisco General Hospital.
In 1992, she found a small tumor about half the size of an almond located high upon her chest.
